Fans showed up to support the outfit and their new set, though it falls short of their previous achievements, and it breaks one of the most impressive run of chart champions in history.
Прогулка вокруг Луны debuts at a respectable No. 5 on this week’s Billboard 200, which measures the most-consumed albums and EPs in the U.S. While this is a strong start, it marks the end of the band’s lengthy streak of consecutive No. 1 albums.
Since 1998, every studio album released by the Dave Matthews Band has reached the top spot on the Billboard 200. Now, with Прогулка вокруг Луны launching at No. 5, the group’s 25-year streak of No. 1 albums has come to an end. Their latest simply couldn’t surpass Morgan Wallen’s Одна вещь за раз, which continued its dominance on the charts.
The Dave Matthews Band first reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 1998 with their album Перед этими переполненными улицами.
